USA Harness To Be a Major Participant In A-620 Revision
03/31/2010

USA Harness will co-chair the ‘B’ revision process to the internationally accepted IPC/WHMA A-620 document. “Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies” has been adopted worldwide for companies seeking quality manufacturing criteria. The standard, introduced in 2002 and revised once in 2006, is a joint effort between the IPC (Institute for Interconnecting and Packaging Electronic Circuits) and WHMA (Wiring Harness Manufacturers Association). Volunteer attendees from member companies meet to discuss and determine standards for the proper manner of wire and cable processing.

USA Harness has been active in the development of this standard from its beginning. We also co-chair the committee for the handbook associated with this document.
